Car
If you are driving, start from Kuala Lumpur. Take the Karak Highway (E8) in the direction of Gombak. After about 20 minutes, take the exit toward Batu Caves and continue on Jalan Hulu Yam Bharu. Follow the signs to Sungai Tua Waterfall. The waterfall is approximately 30 minutes from the exit. There is parking available near the waterfall, but it can get crowded on weekends.
Public Transportation
To reach Sungai Tua Waterfall via public transport, take the KTM Komuter train from Kuala Lumpur to Rawang Station. From Rawang, you will need to catch a taxi or ride-sharing service to the waterfall, which is about a 30-minute drive away. Ensure to confirm the fare with the driver beforehand. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Rawang to Batu Caves, then a taxi from there to the waterfall.
Walking
Once you have parked your car or arrived at the nearest drop-off point, prepare for a short hike to the waterfall. Follow the trail signs leading to Sungai Tua Waterfall. The path may be rocky and uneven in some areas, so wear appropriate footwear. It should take about 15-20 minutes to reach the waterfall from the parking area.
