Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the city of Johor Bahru, take the North-South Expressway (E2) and head north. Follow the signs for Penang. Once you reach Penang, exit onto the Penang Bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue straight until you reach Georgetown. Lim Jetty is located at 37, Pengkalan Weld, which is easily accessible. Parking is available nearby, but keep in mind that there may be parking fees that can range from RM2 to RM5 per hour.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from your location to the Sungai Nibong Bus Terminal in Penang. From the terminal, you can catch a local bus or take a Grab (a ride-hailing service) to Georgetown. The fare for the bus is approximately RM2 to RM4, while a Grab ride may cost around RM15 to RM25 depending on the distance.

• Taxi/Grab

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use the Grab app from your location directly to Lim Jetty. This option is particularly convenient if you have luggage or prefer not to navigate public transport. The fare will depend on your starting point but expect to pay anywhere from RM20 to RM50, based on the distance.

• Walking

  Once you arrive in Georgetown, Lim Jetty is about a 15-minute walk from the main tourist area. Head towards the waterfront, and you will see signs guiding you to Pengkalan Weld. It is recommended to use a map application on your phone for precise navigation.
