As you approach Kuala Lumpur, take the exit for Jalan Duta and merge onto Jalan Duta. Continue on Jalan Duta until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Jalan Kuching, then merge onto Jalan Istana. Follow the signs for the city center, and continue straight until you reach Jalan Raja. Merdeka Square will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee of about RM5 to RM10 depending on the lot.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From various locations in the Southern Region, you can take a bus to Kuala Lumpur. Look for services like Transnasional or Unititi Express. Buses typically depart from bus terminals such as Larkin Terminal in Johor Bahru. Once you arrive at Pudu Sentral in Kuala Lumpur, you can take a short 10-minute walk to Merdeka Square. Head towards Jalan Pudu, then continue onto Jalan Raja. The square will be ahead of you. Bus tickets typically cost between RM30 to RM50.

    If you prefer the train, take the KTM Intercity from Johor Bahru Sentral to Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station. The journey takes about 4 to 5 hours. From Kuala Lumpur Sentral, take the LRT (Light Rail Transit) to Masjid Jamek Station. Once you exit the station, it's a short 15-minute walk to Merdeka Square. Head towards Jalan Tun Perak, and continue straight until you reach Jalan Raja. The square will be on your left. Train tickets cost approximately RM40 to RM60.
