If you are driving from Taman Negara National Park, you will first need to return to the nearest main road. Exit the park and head towards Jerantut, which is approximately a 1-hour drive. From Jerantut, take Route 68 heading towards Bentong. After approximately 1.5 hours, you will reach the Karak Expressway (E8). Take the exit towards Lentang, and follow the signs to Lentang Forest Reserve. The total driving time from Taman Negara to Lentang is about 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic. Make sure to fuel up in Jerantut, as there are limited petrol stations along the way.

To reach Lentang Forest Reserve using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Taman Negara to Jerantut. The bus journey will take about 1 hour. From Jerantut, you will need to take a bus heading to Bentong. Once in Bentong, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to reach Lentang Forest Reserve, which is about 30 minutes away. Note that bus schedules can be infrequent, so check the timings beforehand. The total travel time can range from 3 to 4 hours, including waiting times and transfers.
