From Kuala Terengganu, take the Kuala Terengganu-Bukit Payong road (Route 3) and head towards the town of Kuala Berang. Follow Route 3 for approximately 36 km until you reach Kuala Berang. Once in Kuala Berang, look for signs directing you to Hutan Lipur Sekayu (Sekayu Recreational Forest). The entrance to Air Terjun Sekayu Waterfall is about 12 km from Kuala Berang. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the waterfall entrance. There is usually a small entrance fee of around RM5 per person for visitors.

From Kuala Terengganu, board a bus headed to Kuala Berang. The bus station in Kuala Terengganu is located near the city center. The journey takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Kuala Berang bus terminal, you can either take a taxi or a local ride-sharing service to Hutan Lipur Sekayu, which is approximately 12 km away. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting the trip. The taxi fare can range from RM20 to RM30.
