If you are driving from major cities in West Coast, such as Kuala Lumpur or Ipoh, take the North-South Expressway (E1). Exit at the Tanjung Malim exit (Exit 119). From there, follow the signs to Route 1, which will lead you towards Sungkai and then into the Perak region. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the town of Lumut. From Lumut, follow signs to Pangkor Island. Although Coral Beach is located on the mainland, you can access it via the ferry from Lumut to Pangkor Island. The ferry costs around RM10 one way. Once on the island, follow local signs to Coral Beach, which is approximately a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal.
