Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from your current location in Gaafu Alif Atoll. Use a GPS device or map application to navigate to Kooddoo, which is approximately 10-15 minutes away depending on your starting point. Follow the main road in the direction of Kooddoo Island. Once you enter Kooddoo Island, look for signs directing you towards the viewpoint. There is no entry fee for accessing Kooddoo view point.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Kooddoo view point via public transportation, look for local buses or shared vans that operate within Gaafu Alif Atoll. These typically run on a set schedule, so check the local timetable. Board a bus heading towards Kooddoo Island. Once you arrive at Kooddoo, ask the driver or locals for directions to the viewpoint, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Note that the cost for public transportation is usually low, ranging from $1 to $3 USD per person.

• Walking

  If you are already on Kooddoo Island, the viewpoint is accessible by walking. From the main settlement area, head towards the beach and follow the coastal path. The viewpoint is situated near the water's edge, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as it may take about 20-30 minutes to walk to the viewpoint depending on your pace.
