If you have a rental car, start from your accommodation in Kaafu Atoll and drive towards the Thulusdhoo Ferry Terminal. The approximate driving time will vary based on your starting point but expect around 30-60 minutes from the central areas. Once you reach Thulusdhoo Ferry Terminal, you will need to park your car in the designated parking area.
Public Transportation - Ferry
From the Thulusdhoo Ferry Terminal, take a local ferry to Gagarin Reef. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance as they may not operate frequently. The ferry ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. The cost of the ferry is usually around 3-5 USD per person. Once you arrive, you can walk to Gagarin Reef, which is located at the coordinates 9JGR+5V, Thulusdhoo.

After disembarking from the ferry, follow the signs leading towards Gagarin Reef. The reef is accessible on foot from the ferry terminal, and it’s about a 10-minute walk. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear, as the terrain may be rocky.
