Car
If you are traveling by car within Kaafu Atoll, start your journey in Malé. Navigate to the main road, and head towards the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal located at the northeastern side of the island. The address is 6G4R+8W5, Nirolhu Magu, Malé. From there, you can park your car at the terminal (note that parking fees may apply). Once parked, take the ferry from the terminal to Hulhumale, which is approximately a 15-20 minute ride. The ferry fare is usually around $1-3 per person. After arriving at Hulhumale, you can walk to the beach, which is easily accessible and well-signposted.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Malé to Hulhumale. Buses to Hulhumale leave from the main bus station in Malé. Look for buses labeled 'Hulhumale', and board one that is heading directly there. The bus fare is approximately $1 per person. The journey will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Hulhumale, follow the signs to the beach, which is within walking distance from the bus stop.
Ferry
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a ferry directly from Malé to Hulhumale. Head to the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal in Malé located at 6G4R+8W5, Nirolhu Magu. Ferries run frequently throughout the day, so check the schedule upon arrival. The cost is typically around $1-3 per person, and the ferry ride takes about 15-20 minutes. After disembarking, you'll find yourself in close proximity to Hulhumale Beach, which is just a short walk away.
