Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from your accommodation in Kaafu Atoll and head toward the main road leading to the ferry terminal at Malé. Take the road towards Thilafushi. You will need to follow the signs that indicate the way to the Thilafushi area. Note that there are no direct roads to Thilafushi itself, as it is an island, so you will have to park your car at the ferry terminal and continue by ferry.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Thilafushi thundi using public transportation, first, take a bus or taxi to the Malé ferry terminal. From there, you need to purchase a ticket for the ferry that goes to Thilafushi. Ferries typically run every 30 minutes but check the local timetable for accurate times. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Thilafushi, you can navigate to Thilafushi thundi using a local map or by asking locals for directions.

• Ferry

  After reaching the Malé ferry terminal, ensure you purchase a round-trip ticket to Thilafushi. The cost is relatively low, usually around 20-30 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa). Once you arrive on Thilafushi, you will need to walk or take a local transport option to reach Thilafushi thundi, which is approximately 1 km from the ferry drop-off point.
