If you are using public transport, take a bus or taxi to Malé city. Once in Malé, make your way to the Villingili ferry terminal. Buses are available from various parts of the atoll; just ask the driver for the ferry terminal. The ferry ride to Villingili takes about 10-15 minutes and costs approximately 20 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa) per person. After disembarking at Villingili, follow the signs that lead to the beach area. Vilingili housereef is located just off the shore, and you can either swim or rent a kayak to reach it.
