Seaplane
The most common and scenic way to reach Aarah is via seaplane from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Heritance Aarah is approximately a 40-minute seaplane ride away. Upon arrival at the airport, a resort representative will escort you to the seaplane terminal. Seaplane transfers typically cost around USD 575 per adult and USD 288 per child (2-11 years) for round trip. Confirm costs with the resort prior to travel. Seaplanes operate during daylight hours, so arrival before 3:00 PM is recommended.
Domestic Flight and Speedboat
Alternatively, you can take a domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Dharavandhoo Airport (DRV) in Baa Atoll, followed by a speedboat transfer to Aarah. The domestic flight is approximately 20 minutes, and the speedboat transfer is about 45 minutes. This option may be preferable for late-night arrivals when seaplanes are not operating. A domestic flight and speedboat transfer will cost around USD 425 per adult and USD 213 per child (2-11 years). From the local airport, a representative will guide you to the speedboat.
