Speedboat
From Velana International Airport (MLE) near Malé, the quickest way to Dhiffushi is by speedboat. Several operators offer shared speedboat transfers. The journey takes approximately 40-50 minutes. Pre-booking is highly recommended. Expect to pay around $35-$45 per person for a one-way trip. Operators include Mee Altec Express.
Public Transport
A budget-friendly option is the public ferry from Malé. The ferry departs from the Villingili Ferry Terminal in Malé. To reach the terminal from the airport, take a taxi for approximately $2. The ferry ride takes around 3 hours and 15 minutes. The fare is approximately 22 MVR (about $1.50 USD). Ferries operate daily except Mondays and Fridays, departing Malé at 2:30 PM and Dhiffushi at 6:30 AM.
