  • Seaplane

    The most common way to reach Six Senses Laamu is via a scenic seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. The resort arranges these transfers, which take approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, a resort representative will greet you and escort you to the seaplane terminal. The seaplane flight offers stunning aerial views of the Maldives. As of July 2025, the round-trip seaplane transfer costs USD 1,209 per adult (12 years and above) and USD 706 per child (2-11 years). Infants under 2 years travel free, provided they sit on a parent's lap. Seaplanes operate only during daylight hours, so plan your international flights accordingly.

  • Domestic Flight and Speedboat

    Alternatively, you can take a domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Kadhdhoo Airport (KDO) in Laamu Atoll, followed by a 15-minute speedboat ride to the resort. The domestic flight takes approximately 50 minutes. The resort also arranges these transfers. Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, a resort representative will assist you with your check-in at the Domestic Terminal. After arriving at Kadhdhoo Airport, you will be greeted by a member of the Six Senses Laamu team who will assist you with your onward speedboat transfer to the resort.
