Seaplane
The most common way to reach Komandoo Island Resort & Spa is via seaplane from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Upon arrival at MLE, you will be escorted to the Trans Maldivian Airways terminal, a 10-minute ride from the arrival terminal, or to the Komandoo Airport Lounge. The seaplane transfer takes approximately 40 minutes, offering stunning aerial views of the Maldivian atolls. The cost is typically USD 400 per person for a round trip. Seaplanes operate only during daylight hours (06:00 to 15:00), so ensure your international flight arrives accordingly. Baggage allowance is 20 kg for check-in and 5 kg for carry-on; excess baggage is charged at USD 5 per kg.

Domestic Flight and Speedboat
An alternative to the seaplane is a domestic flight to Madivaru Airport (LMV), followed by a speedboat transfer to Komandoo Island Resort & Spa. The domestic flight takes approximately 35 minutes, and the speedboat transfer takes around 40 minutes. The roundtrip domestic flight and boat transfer cost is approximately USD 305 per person. Baggage allowance is 22 kg in Comfort Class or 35 kg in Sapphire Class, plus 5 kg carry-on.
