Seaplane
The primary way to reach Kuredu Island from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé is via seaplane. Upon arrival at MLE, you'll be transferred to the Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) terminal. TMA provides 40-minute seaplane transfers to Kuredu. The flights are scheduled to coincide with international flight arrivals and departures. Seaplane transfers operate during daylight hours, typically between 6:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Ensure your international flight arrives in Malé before the last seaplane departure. The round trip seaplane transfer costs approximately USD 400 per adult and USD 205 per child, inclusive of taxes. There is a luggage allowance of 20kg for checked-in luggage and 5kg for carry-on luggage per person; excess baggage is charged at US$5.00 per kg.

Domestic Flight and Speedboat
An alternative option involves a domestic flight to Madivaru Airport (if available) followed by a speedboat transfer to Kuredu Island. Manta Air provides domestic flight transfers from the Domestic Terminal at Velana International Airport (MLE) to Madivaru Airport. This option should be requested at least 7 days prior to arrival. After the domestic flight, a speedboat will transfer you to Kuredu Island. Note that domestic air schedules are released 3 days in advance and might change due to operational considerations.
