Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Malé International Airport, exit the terminal and head towards the ferry terminal. Take a public ferry to Malé, which is a short ride away. Once you arrive in Malé, walk towards the main road called Boduthakurufaanu Magu. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Ameer Ahmed Magu. Turn left onto Ameer Ahmed Magu and walk towards the southern end of the city. After a few minutes, you will see the entrance to Sultan Park on your right, near the Maldives Islamic Centre.

    If you are in the city center, for example near the Old Friday Mosque (Hukuru Miskiy), walk east on Majeedhee Magu. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Boduthakurufaanu Magu. Turn left, and Sultan Park will be on your right side after a short walk. The entrance is marked and easy to spot.

    From the ferry terminal in Malé, head south on the main road. Walk towards the National Museum, which is located very close to Sultan Park. You will see signs leading to the park. Walk past the museum, and Sultan Park will be right next to it, with its entrance visible from the road.
