The Tsunami Monument is located in Thin Ruh Park on Boduthakurufaanu Magu in the southeast part of Malé. From most locations in the city center, it is easily accessible by foot. Walk towards the waterfront on the eastern side of the island.
Public Transport

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) operates bus routes within Malé. You can take bus routes 402 or 403 and get off at the Majeediyya School bus stop, which is close to the monument. Bus fares start from MVR 3. Buses run frequently, approximately every 15 minutes during peak hours.
Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Malé. You can hail a taxi on the street or call one of the taxi centers. A short taxi ride within the city typically costs around MVR 20. Be aware that fares may increase slightly after 11 PM.
