- Bring USD in cash, as there are no ATMs on Fulidhoo Island. Credit cards are widely accepted, but cash is useful for smaller establishments and local markets.
- Pack mosquito repellent, as Fulidhoo doesn't fumigate like resort islands. Mosquitoes can be prevalent, especially during dining experiences.
- Confirm ferry/speedboat schedules in advance with your guesthouse, as timings can change. Booking through your accommodation is often easier.
- Respect local customs by dressing modestly when outside of the bikini beach area. Shoulders and knees should be covered.

Speedboat
The most convenient way to reach Island Break is by speedboat from Male International Airport (MLE). The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. A one-way ticket costs around $40 USD per person. Speedboats operate twice daily, except on Fridays, when there is a single morning transfer. Pre-booking through Island Break or another guesthouse is recommended. Upon arrival at Fulidhoo's pier, Island Break is a short walk away.

Ferry
A budget-friendly option is the government-run ferry from Male. The ferry departs from the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal in Male. Note that there are two ferry terminals with the same name, so ensure you go to the one in Male. The ferry operates on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 10:00 AM. The journey takes about 3.5 hours and costs approximately $4 USD per person one way. From the Fulidhoo Ferry Jetty, Island Break is easily accessible on foot.

Once on Fulidhoo, Island Break is easily accessible by foot. The island is small, measuring approximately 700 meters long and 250 meters wide, making it easy to walk from any point to another. From the arrival jetty, walk along the main road, and Island Break will be found on Beach Road.
