    Ferry

    The most common way to reach Thinadhoo is by taking a public or private ferry from Male. From Velana International Airport (MLE) on Hulhule Island, take the ferry to Male. From Male, public ferries to Thinadhoo depart on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 10:00. The journey takes approximately 5 hours and 20 minutes, with stops at Maafushi and Fulidhoo. A one-way ticket costs around $5. Alternatively, a speedboat transfer from Male to Thinadhoo takes about 1.5 hours and costs around $60 per person. Private speedboats can also be arranged for groups, costing around $750. Ferry tickets can be purchased at the terminal before departure.
