If you are traveling by car, start by heading west on Avenue Moussa Tavele from the center of Gao. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue straight for about 10 kilometers. Follow the signs toward Bamako until you reach the M252 road. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs for the National Museum on your right. There is a parking area available near the museum.
