Start at the main square in Birgu, known as the 'Pjazza San Lawrenz'. From the square, head towards the 'Fort Saint Angelo' which is a prominent landmark. Walk past the fort and continue along the waterfront promenade. You will be walking along the 'Birgu Waterfront' which offers beautiful views. Continue straight ahead until you reach the end of the promenade, and you will find yourself at the entrance to Grand Harbour.
