If you are in the heart of Birgu, start at the main square, known as the Vittoriosa Waterfront. Head west towards the main street, Triq San Ġwann. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Triq Sant' Anna. Turn left onto Triq Sant' Anna and walk until you reach the waterfront. From there, follow the waterfront path north until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Valletta. Upon arriving in Valletta, disembark and walk straight onto the main street, Republic Street. Continue walking straight for about 5-10 minutes, and you will see Knisja ta' Santa Barbara on your right at the address VGW6+R78, Republic St.
Public Transport
From Birgu, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the end of Triq Sant' Anna. Board bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Valletta terminal. After disembarking, walk towards Republic Street, which is the main street in Valletta. Continue walking straight for about 5-10 minutes until you reach Knisja ta' Santa Barbara, located at VGW6+R78, Republic St. The church will be on your right side as you approach.
