If you are starting from the Upper Barracca Gardens, exit the gardens and head down the steps towards the Valletta Waterfront. Continue walking along the main road, Triq Sant' Anna, until you reach the main street, Republic Street (Triq Repubblika). Turn left onto Republic Street and walk straight until you see the signs for Merchants Street. Turn right onto Merchants Street, and MUŻA - The National Community Art Museum will be on your left at Auberge D'Italie.

From the Valletta Waterfront, walk up the steps leading to the main road, Triq Sant' Anna. Continue straight until you reach Republic Street (Triq Repubblika). Turn right onto Republic Street and head towards the city center.
