Walking
From the main square in Birgu (Piazza Vittoriosa), head towards the waterfront promenade along the Grand Harbour. Walk along the promenade until you reach the end, where you'll see Fort Saint Angelo on your left. Continue straight, and you will come to the entrance of the bridge leading to Valletta. Cross the bridge, and as you reach the end, you will see St. Elmo Bridge on your right.

From the main square in Birgu, walk to the bus stop located at the end of the street near the waterfront. Take bus number 3 or 13 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the bus terminus in Valletta. From the bus terminus, walk straight along the main road and take a left turn towards St. Elmo Bridge, which is just a short walk away.
Ferry
From Birgu, head to the ferry terminal located along the waterfront. Board the ferry to Valletta, which operates frequently. The ferry ride will take about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, walk straight along the main road and take a left towards St. Elmo Bridge, which is a short distance away.
