From Bugibba, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq il-Luzzu. Take bus number 202 or 203 towards Valletta. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'Mdina' stop. Once you get off, walk towards the entrance of Mdina, and follow the signs to Bastion Square. It's approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, and you will see signs directing you to the square.

If you want to enjoy a scenic walk, start from the Bugibba Promenade. Head east along the promenade towards Qawra. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the Qawra Point. From there, follow the road signs towards St. Paul's Bay, and then make your way towards Mdina. This walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared with water and comfortable shoes.
