Getting There

• Bus

  From Bugibba, head to the Bugibba bus station located on the main street, Triq il-Lokk. Look for bus number 101 or 102, which will take you directly to Mellieħa. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mellieħa bus terminal, exit the bus and head towards Triq Tal-Prajjet, which is a short 10-minute walk. Follow the signs towards Popeye Village; you will see the entrance shortly after.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, start from the main square in Bugibba and head towards the coast, following the promenade (Triq Il-Wilga) until you reach the end. Continue on the coastal path towards Qawra Point, then turn onto Triq il-Lokk and head towards the bus station. From there, you can take bus number 101 or 102 to Mellieħa. The total walking distance to the bus station is about 1.5 km.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Bugibba to Popeye Village. You can find taxis near the main square or call one using a local taxi service. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes, and you can ask the driver to take you directly to Triq Tal-Prajjet, Il-Mellieħa. Be sure to agree on the fare beforehand or use a taxi app to avoid any misunderstandings.
