Getting There

Walking
From the Bugibba Square, head northwest towards Triq San Pawl. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Triq il-Luzzu. Turn left onto Triq il-Luzzu and follow it until you reach the coast. Once you reach the promenade, turn right and walk along the seafront. Keep walking for about 15-20 minutes until you see the signs for Santa Maria Caves on your left. The caves are located slightly elevated, so you may need to walk up a small hill to reach the entrance.

From Bugibba Square, head to the bus stop located near the square. Take the bus number 220 heading towards Mġarr. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the 'Santa Maria Caves' bus stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs leading to the caves which will be a short walk away.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can also take a taxi from Bugibba Square. Simply tell the driver 'Santa Maria Caves' and they will take you directly to the entrance. The ride should take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
