To reach Tal-Wej ERA Protected Site via public transport, take a bus to Naxxar. Several bus routes serve Naxxar, including routes 31, 46, 202, 203, 238 and others. From Valletta, you can take bus 41 or 42 to Naxxar. Once you arrive at the Naxxar bus terminal, you may need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes to the site, following signs towards the WC8M+9JP area. Alternatively, you can take a short taxi ride from the bus terminal to the site. As of July 2025, a single bus ticket costs €2.50 during the day and €3.00 at night.
