From Valletta, the most scenic way to reach Birgu Waterfront is by ferry. Ferries depart from Lascaris Wharf near the Upper Barrakka Gardens. An elevator from the gardens provides easy access to the wharf. The ferry ride to Cospicua Dockyard Creek takes approximately 15 minutes and costs €2. From the dockyard, the Birgu Waterfront is a short walk away.
Public Transport
From Valletta, you can take bus number 1 to Birgu. The bus departs from Valletta A2 and arrives at Bieb, L-Isla. The journey takes around 18-30 minutes and costs €3. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the Birgu Waterfront.
