If you're traveling by car, start from any location in Fawwara and head towards the main road, Triq Hagar Qim. Drive southeast on this road for approximately 2.5 kilometers. You'll pass through scenic views along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Għar Ħanex. Once you reach the address RCFQ+87F, Triq Hagar Qim in Il-Qrendi, you will see the entrance to the Għar Ħanex area. There is no parking fee in the vicinity, but be sure to park in designated areas.

To reach Għar Ħanex using public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop in Fawwara. Take bus route 74 towards Qrendi. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Triq Hagar Qim. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the location of Għar Ħanex. Follow the signs directing you towards the nature preserve. Be sure to check the Malta Public Transport website for current bus schedules and fares, as they may vary.

If you're already in Fawwara and prefer to walk, you can make your way to Għar Ħanex on foot. Head down Triq Hagar Qim, which will lead you directly to the area.
