Getting There

    If you are driving from the Fawwara area, head west on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq il-Qasam. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Triq San Pawl. Take the second exit onto Triq San Pawl. After approximately 1.5 km, you will see signs for St Paul’s Catacombs on your right. Turn right onto Hal-Bajjada, and the entrance to the catacombs will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a parking fee.

    To reach St Paul’s Catacombs via public transport, start by finding the nearest bus stop in Fawwara. Take bus route 202 or 201 towards Rabat. The bus will take you directly to Rabat, which is the closest town to the catacombs. After getting off at the Rabat stop, walk along Triq il-Knisja until you reach the roundabout. From there, continue straight on Triq San Pawl, and after about 1.5 km, look for signs indicating St Paul’s Catacombs. It will be on your right. The bus fare is approximately €1.50 one way.
