The Rock, Fawwara Area Travel Guide

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the Fawwara area, start by heading north on Triq il-Qarnit. Continue until you reach the T-junction and turn left onto Triq il-Linja. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Mellieha and continue straight. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see signs for St. Paul's Bay. Follow the signs until you reach XC49+C4G, where The Rock is located. Note that parking in the vicinity may incur a small fee, usually around €1-€2 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  To reach The Rock using public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop in Fawwara. Take bus number 222 towards St. Paul's Bay. The journey will take about 20-25 minutes. Alight at the 'Il-Mellieha' stop and from there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to XC49+C4G. Follow the street signs towards St. Paul's Bay and you will reach The Rock. A single bus ticket costs around €2.00.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from the Fawwara area, exit your accommodation and head north on Triq il-Qarnit. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Triq il-Linja. Turn left and proceed along this road for about 1 kilometer. After reaching the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Mellieha. Keep walking straight for roughly 2 kilometers until you reach XC49+C4G, where The Rock is located. This walking route is approximately 3 kilometers in total and may take about 45-60 minutes.
