Driving
From Victoria (Rabat), follow signs towards Xewkija or Sannat. Then follow the narrow, winding road leading down to Mġarr ix-Xini. Be cautious, as the road is steep and can be challenging. Parking is available near the beach, but it is limited, especially during peak season. Parking is free.
Public Transport
From the Gozo Ferry Terminal, take bus 301 towards Victoria (Rabat). From Victoria, another bus might be required to get closer to Sannat or Xewkija. Note that the closest bus stop is about a 20-minute walk (1.8 km) from Mġarr ix-Xini, down a steep road. A single bus ticket costs around €2.
Walking
For a scenic route, consider hiking from Mġarr Harbour to Mġarr ix-Xini. The walk takes approximately 40-50 minutes and offers beautiful coastal views. Follow the coastal path, keeping in mind that some sections may be uneven or rocky.
