From the village of Żebbuġ, the Salt Pans are accessible by foot. Follow Triq il-Wied towards the coast. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes, offering scenic views of the Gozitan countryside. No costs are associated with walking.

Buses travel to Żebbuġ from various locations in Gozo, including Victoria (Rabat). From the Żebbuġ bus stop, walk along Triq il-Wied towards the coast (approximately 15-20 minutes). A single bus ticket costs approximately €2.00-€2.50, and is valid for two hours, allowing transfers.
Taxi
Taxis are available throughout Gozo. A taxi from Victoria to the Salt Pans will cost approximately €15-€20. The journey takes around 10-15 minutes.
Car
From the main town in Northern District, such as Mosta, head towards the Bypass Road (Triq il-Bypass). Follow the Bypass until you reach a roundabout and take the exit toward Żebbuġ. Continue along Triq il-Wied until you see signs for Salt Pans. Ample parking is available near the salt pans, but it can get busy during peak tourist hours. Parking is free.
