    The most convenient way to reach Tal-Mixta Cave is by car. From Nadur, follow the signs towards Ramla Bay. The road leading to the cave, Triq l-Ghassa tal-Mahrag, becomes an unsealed dirt path for the last stretch. Drive slowly and carefully. Parking is available in designated bays about 300 meters from the cave entrance. From the parking area, a short walk down a descending staircase leads to the cave.

    To reach Tal-Mixta Cave by bus, take route 302 from Victoria or route 322 from Mgarr Harbour to the 'Qasab' bus stop in Nadur. From Qasab, walk approximately 1.8 kilometers (around 20-30 minutes) to the cave. Follow Triq ta' Xurdin, then Triq ir-Ramla I-Hamra, and finally Triq I-Ghassa tal-Mahrag. The walk is along a road without pavements, so be aware of traffic. As of July 2025, a single bus ticket costs €2.50 in summer.
