Getting There

  • Driving

    From Victoria (Rabat), drive west towards Għarb. Follow the signs to Wied il-Mielaħ, which will lead you along Triq il-Blata. The road is narrow but paved. There is an informal parking area near the trailhead. Be mindful of other vehicles on the narrow road. Parking is free. Coaches and large buses are not suitable.

  • Public Transport

    Take bus 308 or 312 from Victoria to the 'Pinu' bus stop in Għarb. From there, it's approximately a 40-minute (3km) walk to Wied il-Mielaħ. Follow the road towards the coast. The walk is scenic but lacks shade. A single bus ticket costs around €2.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available throughout Gozo. A taxi from Victoria to Wied il-Mielaħ will cost approximately €15-€20. Confirm the final destination with the driver. Ride-hailing apps like eCabs and Bolt also operate on Gozo.
