    Walking

    St. George's Square is centrally located in Valletta and easily accessible on foot from most points within the city. From City Gate, walk straight along Republic Street, the main thoroughfare. The square will be on your left, approximately halfway down the street. No costs are involved.

    Valletta is the main terminus for buses in Malta. From the Valletta bus terminus, walk along Republic Street. St. George's Square will be on your left. A single bus journey costs €2. Consider purchasing a Tallinja card for reduced fares if you plan to use public transport frequently.
