    Getting There

    Bus

    From Gzira, walk to the nearest bus stop on Triq ix-Xatt (the waterfront road). Look for bus numbers 51, 52, or 53, which will take you towards Valletta. Ride the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the bus terminus in Valletta. Once in Valletta, transfer to bus number 186, which goes directly to Mdina. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and when you arrive, get off at the stop for Mdina. From there, follow the signs to the Mdina Gate, which is the main entrance to the city. After entering Mdina, walk straight on Triq Sant'Agatha and then turn left onto Triq Santa Sofija to reach Palazzo Santa Sofia.

    Ferry and Bus

    From Gzira, walk to the Sliema ferry terminal located on the waterfront. Take the ferry to Valletta, which takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive in Valletta, walk to the bus terminus. Catch bus number 186 towards Mdina, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Mdina stop, and proceed to the Mdina Gate. Enter the city and head straight along Triq Sant'Agatha, then turn left onto Triq Santa Sofija to arrive at Palazzo Santa Sofia.
