  • Walking

    From the central area of Gzira, head towards the seafront promenade, known as the Sliema Front. Walk along the promenade heading south towards Sliema. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach the Sliema Ferries area. Here, look for the ferry terminal for Valletta. Purchase a ferry ticket to Valletta. The ferry ride will take about 10-15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the harbor. Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight ahead. You will see a set of stairs leading up to the main streets of Valletta. Ascend the stairs and turn left onto Triq San Gwann. Walk straight for about 5-10 minutes; St. John's Co-Cathedral will be on your right.

    From Gzira, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is usually located on the main road (Triq Gzira). Take bus number 13, 14 or 16 towards Valletta. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminal, exit the terminal and head towards the main street. Walk straight along the main street until you reach Triq San Gwann. Turn right onto Triq San Gwann, and walk for about 5 minutes. St. John's Co-Cathedral will be on your right.
