Walking
Start at the Gzira waterfront promenade. Walk along the promenade heading towards Sliema until you reach the Tigne Point shopping complex. From there, continue towards the ferry terminal at Sliema. Board the ferry to Valletta, which departs frequently. Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, exit and walk straight ahead. Follow the signs towards Republic Street where City Gate is located. The City Gate will be straight ahead as you approach, just past the Parliament building.

Find the nearest bus stop in Gzira, which is located on Triq Sant' Albert. Board any bus heading towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminal, exit the bus and walk towards Republic Street. City Gate is a short walk from the bus terminal, easily accessible by following the signs towards the historical sites.
