Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the central area of Gzira, ideally from the Gzira waterfront promenade. Head towards the main road, Triq Mazzini, and continue walking straight. As you walk, you will pass by several local shops and cafes. Continue on this road until you reach the roundabout at the end. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq G. Borg Olivier. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Triq S. Luqa. Turn left onto Triq S. Luqa and proceed straight until you reach the bus terminus. From the bus terminus, you can take a bus to Valletta (Bus No. 133 or 120). The bus will take around 15-20 minutes to reach Valletta. Alight at the Valletta bus station. From there, walk towards the entrance of the City Gate, which is the main entrance into Valletta. Once inside, continue straight and follow the signs towards St. George's Square. The Grandmaster Palace Courtyard is located adjacent to the square. Look for the large palace structure and you will find the entrance to the courtyard nearby.
