Start your journey from the central area of Gzira, preferably from the Gzira Seafront. Head south along the seafront promenade towards the Sliema Ferries. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Triq ix-Xatt. Turn left onto Triq ix-Xatt and continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq Sant' Anton. Turn right onto Triq Sant' Anton and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will pass by a few shops and cafes. Keep going until you see the sign for the Wignacourt Water Tower on your left. The tower is located at VGR3+VCJ, Vincenzo Bugeja, Floriana.

From Gzira, head to the nearest bus stop located on Triq ix-Xatt. Take bus number 12 or 13 towards Valletta. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Floriana' (the last stop before entering Valletta). From there, walk towards the entrance of the gardens of the Upper Barracca, then turn left onto Triq Sant' Anton. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters until you reach the Wignacourt Water Tower on your right.
