Getting there

Car

There is limited parking in Valletta, so you may need to park in a public car park (such as the one at Floriana) and walk to the Barrakka Lift. From the parking area, walk towards the Upper Barracca Gardens, which is a short distance from the car park. The Barrakka Lift is located at the end of the gardens.

To reach the Barrakka Lift using public transportation, take a bus to Valletta. The bus terminal is located just outside the city gate. Look for buses that stop at Lascaris, which is the nearest stop to the Barrakka Lift. Once you get off at Lascaris, follow the signs to the Upper Barracca Gardens.
