Car
If you are driving, head towards Valletta. Once you enter the city, look for signs directing you to the Lascaris area. There is limited parking in Valletta, so you may need to park in a public car park (such as the one at Floriana) and walk to the Barrakka Lift. From the parking area, walk towards the Upper Barracca Gardens, which is a short distance from the car park. The Barrakka Lift is located at the end of the gardens.
Public Transportation
To reach the Barrakka Lift using public transportation, take a bus to Valletta. The bus terminal is located just outside the city gate. Look for buses that stop at Lascaris, which is the nearest stop to the Barrakka Lift. Once you get off at Lascaris, follow the signs to the Upper Barracca Gardens. The lift is located at the end of the gardens. The bus fare is typically around €1.50 for a single trip.
Walking
If you are already in the Harbour Area, simply walk towards Valletta. Head towards the Upper Barracca Gardens, which is a well-known landmark. Once you reach the gardens, the Barrakka Lift is situated at the end of the gardens, offering a scenic view of the Grand Harbour. This walk is approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.
