Car
If you're driving from the Harbour Area, head towards the main roads leading out of Valletta. Follow signs for Birgu. Take the exit for the B3 road towards Vittoriosa. Continue on this road until you reach the waterfront area of Birgu. There is limited parking near Fort St. Angelo, so look for parking spaces available around the waterfront area. Be prepared to pay for parking, as rates may vary.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Harbour Area, take Bus 81 or 82 from the nearest bus stop. These buses run frequently and will take you to Birgu (Vittoriosa). Get off at the Birgu bus stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Fort St. Angelo. Head down to the waterfront, and you will see the fort directly ahead. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may change.
Ferry
Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Valletta to Birgu. Head to the Valletta ferry terminal, and purchase a ticket for the Birgu ferry. The ferry ride takes about 10-15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Grand Harbour. Once you arrive at the Birgu ferry terminal, it's only a 5-minute walk to Fort St. Angelo. Follow the waterfront path, and you will reach the fort.
