Car
If you are driving, start from the Harbour Area and head towards the main road named 'Triq il-Kbira' (the Big Road). Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at 'Pieta' and take the second exit onto 'Triq Sant' Anna'. Follow this road until you reach another roundabout and take the first exit onto 'Triq il-Lvant'. This road will lead you to Valletta. Look for signs directing you to the city center. Once in Valletta, you can find parking at the 'City Gate' car park. From there, it's a short walk to the Grandmaster Palace Courtyard, which is located at 'VGX7+9GX Palazz tal-President'. The parking fee typically ranges from €1 to €2 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach the Grandmaster Palace Courtyard by public transportation, you can catch bus number 133 or 139 from various points in the Harbour Area. Board the bus at any nearby bus stop and ride until you reach 'Valletta' bus terminus. The journey should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, exit and head towards 'Republic Street'. Continue straight until you reach 'St. George's Square'. From there, the Grandmaster Palace Courtyard is just a few minutes' walk away, located at 'VGX7+9GX Palazz tal-President'. A single bus fare is around €1.50.
Walking
If you are already in Valletta and prefer to walk, head towards 'Republic Street' from wherever you are in the city. Continue walking straight until you reach 'St. George's Square'. The Grandmaster Palace Courtyard is located right in this square at 'VGX7+9GX Palazz tal-President'. It's a pleasant walk, and you can explore various shops and cafes along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes!
