Car
Start from the Harbour Area and head towards Valletta. Follow the signs for the Sliema road (Triq ix-Xatt) leading out of Valletta. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Triq il-Kbira. Follow this road, which becomes Triq il-Lanzun after a short distance. Continue on this road until you reach another roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq Ic-Cimiterju. The Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum will be on your right at Triq Ic Cimiterju Raħal Ġdid, PLA 1116. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee.

Public Transport
From the Harbour Area, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 81 or 83 heading towards Paola. These buses frequently run from Valletta. Get off at the 'Paola' bus station. From there, transfer to bus number 118 or 119, which will take you to the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum stop. The hypogeum is located a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the Malta Public Transport website for current schedules and fares.

Walking
If you are staying in the Harbour Area and want to experience a leisurely walk, you can walk to the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum. Begin at the waterfront promenade and follow the signs leading towards the city center. Head towards Valletta and then to Paola, which is about a 45-minute walk. Once you reach Triq Ic Cimiterju, follow it until you see the entrance to the hypogeum on your left. Please wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
