If you are driving, head towards Valletta's City Gate. From there, follow the signs for 'Lower Barrakka'. You will enter the city through the main road and find parking nearby. Public parking is available at the Floriana Tunnel parking or at the park & ride facility. Expect to pay around €1.50 per hour for parking. Once parked, walk towards the Lower Barrakka Gardens, which is just a short 5-minute walk from the parking area. Follow the signs, and you will reach the beautiful gardens overlooking the Grand Harbour.

To reach Lower Barrakka via public transport, you can take the bus number 81 or 82 from various locations in Malta that lead to Valletta. The bus will drop you off at the Valletta bus terminal. From the terminal, it's about a 10-minute walk to Lower Barrakka. Head towards the entrance of Valletta, then follow the signs to the Lower Barrakka Gardens. The pathway is well-marked, and you'll enjoy the scenic views on your way there. The bus fare is approximately €1.50 for a single journey.
