The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Ensure you have a valid ticket, which can be purchased from vending machines or the bus driver. The bus will drop you off at the main terminus in Valletta, from where you can easily explore the city on foot.
Car
If you're driving from the Harbour Area, head southeast on the main road leading out of the Harbour. Follow signs for Valletta (you will see directional signs along the way). The drive should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. You can park in one of the public parking facilities available outside the city walls of Valletta. Note that parking fees apply, which can range from €1 to €2 per hour. After parking, enter Valletta on foot through one of the city gates.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service
For a more direct option, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing service (like Bolt or Uber). Simply request a ride to Valletta and provide the address VGX7+HR7. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes from the Harbour Area, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around €15-€20 for this service.
Ferry (Seasonal)
If you are near the waterfront, check if there are any seasonal ferry services operating to Valletta. The ferry ride offers a scenic route across the Grand Harbour and takes about 10-15 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the ferry terminal. Note that this option may not be available year-round.
