From Hondoq Bay, head west on Triq Hondoq towards the Qala Road. Turn left onto Qala Road (SP44) and continue straight for about 3.5 km. Merge onto the Bypass Road (SS1) towards Valletta. After approximately 10 km, follow signs for Mdina. Take the exit towards Mdina and continue straight until you reach the Mdina Gate. Parking is available near the gate, but it may incur a small fee.

From Hondoq Bay, walk to the nearest bus stop (Hondoq Bay). Take Bus 307 heading towards Valletta. After about 30 minutes, transfer to Bus 51 or 52 at Valletta bus station, and take it towards Mdina. The journey will take about an hour. Get off at the stop closest to Mdina Gate. Be prepared to walk a short distance to reach the gate itself.
